Crater Lake (oregon) During the Winter

Crater Lake used to be a Volcano (about 7700 years ago), till it exploded!

The Explosion occurred so rapidly that it left the mountain hollow inside... hence it imploded to form a crater-like shape.

It is actually, the 7th deepest like in the entire world!! (Even the great lakes - which turn out to be not very deep at all). It's deepth is 1932 ft, which means it could engulf the entire CN tower.

It gets an average of 13 metres!!! of snow a year. A lot of which melts into the Crater & hence the lake. Also the reason, why the water is the cleanest & clearest in the Universe! (Okay, maybe just the world - but I haven't read that explicitly so don't quote me on that!).

The Cabin on the hill is closed during the winter.... especially since it's half snowed it!!

Shitty Fuckin Luck!

So Gaj had a fuckin SHITTY fuckin weekend. I drove up to Crater Lake (Oregon). It was a sick road trip (or at least was suppose to be). The view of the lake was intense & the view of the stars.... I've never seen so many stars in my life. I could actually see different arms of the Milky Way! Not to mention all the stars of Orian's (his belt, sword, etc). I mean I actually saw parts of the MILKY WAY!! Like billions of stars so close they looked like a cloud.

But everything was not so well... So here goes the beginning of a shitty year!

1.) Gaj gets pulled over for speeding 93mph in a 70 zone. I was doing much more than that - but FUCK, I've never gotten a ticket. And I thought playing the "dumb canadian" role would get me out of a ticket... NO luck! Instead, I get called to court for not having a californian drivers license. grrr. FUCK! The fucker wouldn't even give me play on the speeding ticket. grrr.

2.) Going up the fucking mountain, Gaj hits a patch of ice & my brand new freakin truck goes crashing into the piles of plowed snow on the side. To bad the snow is packed tight & hence it fucking dents my trucks front fender! FUCK!!! God DAMN!

3.) Then I get to the top, all ready to x-country ski (for the first time). Bust out my $3 gloves from wal-mart... turns out they are two right handed gloves!!! Fuck... had to buy gloves from the gift store! Not even my size for $13 freakin dollars.

4.) Start x-country skiing & not even a 100 metres in my frigin pole snaps!! How does a pole snap??? Shit! So no skiing for Gaj.

5.) The next day, I'm waiting at the Ranger station to book for a snow-shoe tour, which has 3 spaces left (perfect for me & the two interns I'm with) & boom, a phone call comes in & someone fills up the tour!!! grrr.

6.) I'm getting mixed signals from my ex-girlfriend... or maybe there is just so much tension?? But it's hard to even get a hold of her & when I do, she's usually to upset to talk things over. I'm starting to think what's the point of all of this?? I'm totally confused about the two of us.

7.) lol. Is it done yet? Nope. I get home & the kitchens a mess. I guess my roommates thing it's my weekend to clean.... NOPE, it is the fucker who skipped his week! Not to mention the garbage has piled up.... but that could partly be due to the guy who cleaned last week... but failed to empty out the garbage! Those fuckers are so frigin messy & irresponsible! Fuckin like little kids! They need their parents to give 'em a good frigin smacking! GRRRRR.

8.) I decide to watch the episode of the O.C. that I recorded! But someone told me the wrong time when I was setting up the vcr - so the last 5 mins gets CUT-OFF!! The most important frigin 5 mins! FUCK! GOD DAMN IT!

I'm having fucking shitty luck. Life is really giving me a fuckin jerk right about now! Not to mention my project load at work is fuckin hectic! And I'm taking Partial Differential Equations this term!! WTF man! I'm not in a good mood, not in a good mood!

GRRRR. FUCK, FUCK, FUCK! I need a beer (but that sounds like an alcoholic taking!) GRRRR. FUCK, FUCK! SHIT, FUCK!! GRRRR - FUCK!

Blogger Sucks! (sometimes).

Man, my last post wasn't published till now - grrr, what's the deal with that? Whatever!

Man, I'm somewhat getting swamped at work! And I've been fucking up a little - crap! Pay more attention Gaj! And I need to ask my boss for some time off! My folks are coming to town & Gaj wants to also hit up Mexico for spring break the weekend before! Shit, we'll see what happens.

On other notes, man I'm not feeling some of these other interns! Some of them as such flakes! Grrr, I guess sometimes you just have to look the other way. Anyways, I'm planning to hit up Crater Lake next weekend. It used to be a Volcano that collapsed & is now a "Crater" like mountain, with a lake in the centre with an island in the middle... sick huh? And there'll be snow, so you can go snow shoeing & x-country skiing around the rim of the mountain.

Sick how in California, the temperature is above freezing... yet, natural ski resorts are only like a few hours away!

Newport & SASA!

What! What! Okay, so the original plan was to blog everyday - lol, fat chance of that! But whatever, I have some free time at work again, so here goes...

I ended up going to LA last weekend & what can I say... SIIICCCK! LA was sick, newport had crazy hot girls, & pure high rollers! And then on Sat night I hit up the SASA jam, which was jam packed with pure hot girls (many scandaly-clat, hot girls)!!

Oh & did I mention I wore a t-shirt during night & day! Quote / Conversation: "Yo, Gaj... what's today's date?" "Yo, Mali guy... it's frigin January 15th! What!" ha ha.

The weather & the scene out there is SICK!! SICK to visit that is... but to live?? Hum, the scene out there is way too superficial!! Like money makes the world go round, but in order to be accepted in society (or should I say respected), you need to have mad dough... we're talking like salaries of atleast $200K. Which is kinda whack?? Cause, I grew up in Scarborough & dude you don't need money to live a good life or be respected! That's kinda weak! Kinda like people who smoke just to fit in or be cool! That's weak! I don't need dough to get respect or have respect for myself, nor do I need to smoke to fit in or be cool! lol. (p.s. lots of posers & smokers in LA).

The dude I rode with (lol. my hitch-hiker) was this 21 y/o UCLA mech eng grad (funny how they graduate like a year before we do). Anyways, this dude was frigin loaded! A house in Los Gatos, which is within a mountain range & lives on like an acre of land! His house has it's own frigin ROAD! Not to mention 3 car garages & a whole bunch of cars on their lawn.... So why did this dude need a ride to LA? lol. Don't know - but he was cool.

It was also good to kick it with my boy, Mali, who was originally from Toronto. Lots of reminicing about the good old days... ha ha, can't forget the good old days!

2 go Or NOT 2 go??

Shit man... The original plan, make a trip to LA, carpool with some fool to split gas & hit up Mali (my long lost boy from Scarborough that moved to the O.C. - living the good life). On the way I'd deliever some furniture & make an easy $150... but that plan might flop! grrr...

So now I think I might flop!! I mean, damn LA is like 800+ miles round trip & I've only got 10,000 miles on my truck before I have to sell it! (Trying to keep it under warranty so it's easy to sell, when I leave). And if I'm not making any money on the trip... what's the point, right?

But I kinda feel bad, cause I've flopped on Mali like 6 times now!! Sheiet! And I'd be flopping on that guy I arranged to carpool with. Plus, I have a half day tomorrow (technically, actually not really - whatever, I'm making it a half day). And there is a sick party out there this weekend.... grrrr. But what's the point if I'm not gonna break even $$$ wise?? Damn, we'll see what happens.

So my training course is suppose to finish at noon on friday... so Gaj plans to make a trip down to LA. But some measurements screwed up at work, now my boss needs me to reprogram some parts & then test them!! grrr. Sucks cause these parts take like 2 hrs each to program! And tomorrow is thursday night... & you know what on thursday night! The O.C.!!

Damn, I better not miss it - but who am I kidding! Damn it man!

In other news: I'm carpooling to LA with people I met off the web! :S But they are both students so it shouldn't be that bad - I hope! If you don't here from me in a week, tell the cops to check my hotmail account, ha ha. (No seriously!) :D

Crappy, Rainy Day!

Grrr... today was suppose to be a relaxed chill day at a training session! Then my manager calls... some of the data I collected was sketchy! Ended up going back to work, working an extra few hours (after a full day of training) & realize that we have to RECOLLECT all the data! Grrr... And it hasn't stopped raining in like 5 days! Double grrrr!

Yeah, so I haven't been here in a while... I guess I've just been lazy. It all started at halloween, I got sick & my routine went totally out of whack. I stopped hitting the gym, & got a shit load of things to do at work... Then came thanksgiving (in Nov for the US) & then x-mas... It all came soo fast! Well, here is the summary:

Oct: Got sick & couldn't go out on halloween :(
Nov: Weekend in Vegas! My sickest weekend ever! I kicked it at the clubs, learnt how to play craps (lost $70 because I couldn't walk away from the tables, after winning twice!! grr). Kicked it with a couple of hot, hot girls... including two different sets of lesbians!! You've got to love VEGAS
Dec: Try to smuggle over $1000 USD worth of electronics into Canada! Mission successful! My dad now has wicked home theatre system!
