Damn it! Any Pickup? Or hold off?

Okay, so here's the deal now. I'm trying to "trade" or sell my motorcycle for either a smaller motorcycle (to save on gas) or a pickup truck (to go camping). See a smaller motorcycle would be cheaper too - maybe like $1500, so I would have $3000 for a pickup truck! Then I could use my cheap on gas motorcycle for the daily work commute & the truck for camping & travelling out of town! But I would prefer a Toyota pickup truck (since it is not that gas guzzling & not american).

But I got the following email: "Hey i'm interested in a trade as well. I got a 1995 Chevy S - 10 ZR2. It has the 4.3 liter HO motor, auto tranny, 4wd, ext cab, fully loaded, cd player, cloth bucket seats. Kelly Blue book is $5790... I am looking to get around $5000 for the truck. So if you are interested in a trade plus $1000 from you then we can work something out."

Well, I'm sure I can work in the trade for like $500. But do I really want a Chevy? And it's a 4.3 litre (notice the correct spelling!!) - which is apparaently a very large engine (& hence lots of gas!). And it's American? Damn, I don't know. I'm kinda not feeling the Chevy.

If I can sell my bike for cash, then I can search for a truck I like. Otherwise, I have to trade for something that is available! That sucks. We will see.

4.3 L is HUGE and will cost you a fortune in gas and be brutal for the envirnment. No one needs a 4.3L in the city.

lol. Tell me about it! I think I might just stick w/ my motorcycle for now! Unless, someone wants to trade for something alittle more gas friendly!
