What the hell man! When did buying a laptop becoming confusing?? And I'm supposed to be a semi-tech nerd!?! Now you have all this Centrino, Hyperthreading, 64-bit processing crap!

Can someone just write a frigin article saying which one is best!! None of this, "Centrinos preform to the capacity of P4-M w/ HT minus 500 MHz". WTF?!?

Guy there should be a STANDARD RATING for different applications!!

Like a frigin standard test for all the frigin different combinations & sh*t! Each notebook would run a standard set of test & the result would be recorded. Wasn't that supposed to happen? Like NIPS or something (N. instructions per second - or whatever)??

All morning I've been trying to research this crap & now my head hurts!! Centrino 1.7 GHz = P4-M 3.2 GHz = P4-M w/HT 3.0 GHz = AMD 64 + 64bit O.S.!!! WTF!?!!

And I'm not even considering this AMD 2200+, AMD1700+++, AMD 150*++ crap!.
