2nd Day of Class!
So I went to school, yesterday. It was alright, the prof was pretty sick. He rambled on forever, but he said that he was an easier marker & if you try you'd easily rip the course (not in those exact words of course). We watched videos & looked at different maps & his vacation pictures to China. He had some interesting views on terrorisim as well. He was cool.
The class was kinda weird though... It reminded me of Summer School at West Hill or Laurier (i.e. high school)! Dinky little classroom, w/ maps all over the walls. But outside the campus was bumping still. It looked like a nice, well kept university. Grass & trees all over the place, paved paths inbetween the grass (not student made mud short cuts through King's College. lol). Some part of me enjoyed being back at school. I felt accepted - accepted by school. I thought the class would be huge, but there were like 30 ppl max. The size of a tutorial at UfT.
I think I'm most likely gonna enroll in this course, but I'm gonna check out History of SE Asia today (just incase). Besides parking is free & there were mad bikes parked on the street (so I'm not completely scared my bike will get jacked)! Only thing is... I learnt in class that SouthEast Asia refers to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, etc. & does not really include Sri Lanka :( But no harm in checking out the first class,
