I proclaim this weekend "The Weekend of GajK"

I realized something this morning.... every morning I wake up at 8:30 am regardless of my alarm clock. So lately I've felt fucked because I've been going to bed at like 1am & shit. I need to start going to bed earlier!!

After napping this morning, I started working on my thesis. I even made it to meet my senior researcher. She gave me an overview of the system I will be using for my thesis & the basics of how I will be running the experiment. It's sick cause I get to use hardcore lasers! Good but also scary! Some of the lasers I will use will be ultrafast pulsed lasers with mW power levels (ie. enough to burn you!).

Today, I had to remind myself to "Keep Your Eyes On The Prize!". I saw this girl (regularly not on my ladder - low Cat 3) but she was wearing this almost skin-tight red floral dress & white heels. It was like an evening dress - but red. I love the colour red! In fact, I find that when girls wear red (like bright red) I find them more attractive! haha.

On my way home, I saw a student carrying a canister of liquid Nitrogen - it reminded me of the physics lab in 3rd year. The sickest part about that lab was being able to use liquid Nitrogen & liquid Helium for experiments! For those that don't know - they are at like 77 K & 4K!!!, respectively. That's like as cold as shit gets! Like K = Celcius - 273! siicck! It's kinda impressive how BEC labs cool atoms to like frigin nanokelvin! That's like fuckin absolute zero! Super cold stuff fascinates me!

Today's weather reminded me of California! Crystal clear sky, no humidity, cool yet warm and green. Almost like spring in cali. All I miss is the mountains!
